I read Junk and Girlfriend and observed TV and never saw my body represented in a positive light in mainstream media. But White confesses going into porn is an extreme way to look for body positivity.

But in the end, cleanliness is far more important than how much or how little pubic hair you have. Performers need to be very aware of their own tastes and smell. But White admits that the adult movie industry is not for everybody.

“ For people like me, it’ s a good place where I can exhibit my sexuality and I can be myself. But performers deal with a lot of stereotyping and stigma as a result of being involved in this industry so I wouldn’ t recommend it to anyone who isn’ t willing to experience that negativity.

“ Performers face issues with trolls and teasing on social media, institutionalised splendour when applying for bank accounts and loans, and their profession can be used against them in custody battles.
